St. Pat's Day card - for QKR Stampede #233 - Anything Goes

This week the QKR Stampede weekly challenge is again Anything Goes - and no twist this time!  You may enter up to 3 times before 6 pm EST Thursday, March 9.  You might win your choice of QKR Stampede digis.  If you are looking for something cute for St. Patrick's day, check on this Pot of Gold digi. I  used Prismas and a gold metallic pen for coloring.  The sentiment is from Eureka stamps - they can be found on the same site as QKR.  Due to a little mishap I used the pen to add some background dots - maybe it is raining more coins to fill the pot!  The dies are by Spellbinders, and I found a piece of DP in my stash that looked a bit like the Irish theme. The border die was cut from a snippet of dark green cs, and I used a snippet of cord.  One of the challenges I am entering asks for "fantasy".  This is not the usual interpretation, I know - but what is more fantasy than finding a pot of gold!!!

Hi Dorothy, Just found you via your St. Pat's card which is highlighted at the Snippets Playground (and became your newest follower too!) It's a darling motif for this holiday and those are not always easy to find. Nifty layout design with pretty papers to show off this cute leprechaun. TFS & Hugs. (hope you'll find time to visit me as well!)
