Black & White with Lavender

This is my go-to style for sympathy cards.  I usually like the relatively clean look with few embellishments.  I have had the Scor-Pal for a while, but need to practice with it.  The image ((Fancy Pants) and sentiment (Verve) are from fairly new sets - these saw ink for the first time.  The chalk is sponged for a softer look.

It feels good to pull out a stamp and use it for the first time, doesn't it? Great job on the card and thanks for playing along with us over at TIOT New Stash challenge. waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

It's such a serene color combination. Perfect for sympathy cards. I too like the clean look for this type of card.
